Friday Night Lecture: IS LIFE FAIR?

Friday 2 OCTOBER
Friday Night Lecture: Is Life Fair?
Why do bad things happen to good people — and good things happen to people who don’t seem to deserve them? Is life fair, or does it just look that way if you’re lucky… What do you think?
This Friday Night Lecture opens our October theme of karma by taking on one of the biggest questions we ask about life: is any of this actually fair, and what can we do about it?
Expect a lively open discussion about the Buddhist law of karma.
This session is light-hearted, thought-provoking, and interactive, perfect for anyone curious about the challenges of modern life, whether you’re new to meditation or have been practising for years.
The evening begins with a short guided meditation, followed by discussion and a short lecture about the Buddhist view of karma.
The evening concludes with refreshments, giving you the chance to continue the conversation and enjoy a Friday night out with a meaningful twist. Come on your own or with friends.
Everyone warmly welcome.
