If you enjoy the programme of events we offer at KMC Edinburgh then becoming a member is the easiest and most economical way to access our classes, courses and retreats. It is a great way to deepen your meditation experience and includes many livestreamed classes each week in addition to the in person classes.
Becoming a member is also a great way to support the centre and creates important financial stability for us as a charity to continue offering all our activities throughout the year.
By becoming a member of KMC Edinburgh you will have only one fixed monthly fee and can attend unlimited in person classes at the centre in Edinburgh and at all our branches as well as joining our live streamed sessions from the centre in Edinburgh (link emailed to you once your membership is processed by our team). You can also enrol on the Monday night Teacher Training Programme or Wednesday night Foundation Programme at no extra cost.
You will also receive a 30% discount on all special events held at KMC Edinburgh with the exception of the Scottish Dharma Celebration.
Please note that membership does not include materials where applicable or food for courses which can be paid for separately when booking individual courses as a member.
KMC Edinburgh is a registered charity #SC038810 and has a non for profit status. Therefore any profit we accrue is simply used to provide our local communities of Leith, Edinburgh and the branch areas we support with meditation classes and teachings to help solve their daily problems and increase their happiness and well being. Any other profit made is donated to International Temples Project Fund.
Our Centre is generally open Saturday – Wednesdays and closed on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the year other than for some public bank holidays and for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. The Centre is also closed during the annual NKT International Spring, Summer and Fall Festivals which fall into the academic term holiday periods. This is to allow volunteers of the Centre to attend these spiritual holidays. The membership is designed to run continuously with the benefits and cost spread out over the year.
