Monday Morning Class
with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Tubchen
MONDAYS | 11am - 12pm
Small Actions That Change Everything
3 week course | Mondays 21 & 28 September, 5 October | 11am – 12pm
Suitable for everyone, these classes are ideal for beginners as well as those wishing to refresh or deepen their meditation practice.
Do the small things we do each day actually matter? In Buddhism, the answer is a definite yes. This beginner-friendly three-week series introduces karma in the most practical way possible — not as some abstract cosmic law, but as a simple truth about cause and effect you can start using immediately. Each week offers simple, practical tools and guided meditations for bringing more awareness into your everyday actions, words, thoughts and intentions so the small choices you make daily start working for you instead of against you. No previous experience or knowledge of meditation needed. Drop in to any single week, or join for the whole series.
Everyone is warmly welcome.
Each class includes 2 guided meditations, a practical teaching, and time for questions. Meditation is done seated in chairs with the option to sit on a mat and cushion if you prefer.
This course is perfect for beginners as well as anyone wishing to refresh or deepen their meditation practice.
After the class there is tea and biscuits in the cafe provided free of charge for those who would like to stay on and discuss the class or their meditation practice.
