Avalokiteshvara Prayers for World Peace
Join us for a delicious vegetarian buffet and non-alcoholic drinks. The evening will include an uplifting guided meditation session with a short talk to help us reflect on the passing year and set intentions for the coming year.
Before midnight we will engage in candle-lit prayers to the Buddha of Compassion Avalokiteshvara, and see in the New Year with a powerful mantra dedicated to world peace.

THE TEACHER
Gen Tubchen is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh. She is a Buddhist nun with 25 years of experience teaching mainly in the Nordic Region and Scotland. An inspiring and gifted teacher, she is admired for her clear, powerful and practical teachings which touch the hearts of listeners.
