Schools, community groups and businesses visit the peaceful setting of Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh for guided tours of our beautiful meditation room, for talks on meditation and how to practically apply the teachings for greater happiness, to solve inner problems and experience improved well-being.
The Centre is open to everyone and it possible to visit the centre during opening hours anytime. It is also possible to arrange bespoke courses, workshops and guided meditations tailors to your needs either at the centre or in your own venue. From answering the questions of school groups, Scouts or Guides to corporate training days that focus on the practical benefits of meditation and mind training.
In 2025 these have included weekly meditation classes for carers in collaboration with the Edinburgh based charity Care4Carers. Workshops with Danish positive psychology students visiting from America and a workshop with Red Rock Renewables. We have participated in the Meadows Festival offering free meditation classes as well the Leith Festival.
All our teachers are very experienced and our Resident teacher has given courses and workshops for schools, at universities such as Glasgow School of Art and Bødo university in Norway. She has participated in public sector led well-being days, given workshops for many charities as well as for numerous corporate clients including Louis Vuitton, Novartis, Sopra Steria, Tieto and Convendum co-working.
We have a sliding scale of prices for businesses, charities and schools, with all income going towards the running of our registered charity.
