Every second Saturday 10.30am – 12pm

Join a Kids Club class series and help your children grow calm, kindness and confidence through meditation, stories and creative play.

We will use themes that help children understand how to grow their our happiness, and blossom into confident, happy children.

Each 90 minute session includes:

  •  A short guided meditation for children
  •  A child-friendly talk or story
  •  Discussion and reflection
  •  Games and activities to reinforce the theme
  •  A creative craft project to take home
  •  Time for snack and friendship

Practical Info:

  • Suitable for P1 – P7 ages (5-11 years old)
  • It is possible to attend individual classes in the series.
  • A parent or guardian must accompany the children at all times, and they are welcome to join in with the meditations and activities.
  • No previous experience required
  • The cafe will be open for cafe and croissants afterwards

Note that this class overlaps with Happiness Hour which you may find helpful as a family if one or more family members also wish to take advantage of this class upstairs whilst the Kids Club class is ongoing.

TEACHER:
Jude teaches our monthly Children’s Workshops and is a keen student of the Centre’s in-depth Foundation Programme. Jude is a secondary school teacher with experience teaching primary-age students.
Jude has a kind, generous heart and shares Buddha’s teachings with warmth and enthusiasm.  Her creativity shines through in the wonderful stories, games and craft activities she prepares for each workshop which engage children in the workshop topic.

£5 per child; £3 for additional siblings
