Letting go of the past

Sometimes a good friend might tell us it’s time to move on in life. We know it – but we can’t. We feel stuck. Something is holding us back. It can even feel wrong to move on: from a loss, from a past relationship, from being hurt or damaged, from something we did wrong, from painful memories or guilt. It feels we are chained to the past rather than looking forward to our future. At other times it is us giving the advice but it falls on deaf ears because we don’t know how to do it ourselves.

Gen-la Kunsang will encourage us to break the chains of guilt, resentment and disappointment: what we did to others, what others did to us and the feeling that life should always have been better. This is a workshop on how to free ourselves from incorrect and undeserving ways of looking at our own past. It will show us how to move forward in a way which is realistic and more forgiving of ourselves and others.

Join us on in-person at Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh or online. Everybody welcome to this meditation workshop.

Attend in-person or online -Live-streamed on Saturday 19 June, 2-3.30pm (accessible to catch-up for 5 days)
