Meditation is a simple but very effective method to calm the mind, let go of stress and give rise to an experience of inner peace and wellbeing. Especially suitable for beginners you will be introduced to meditation techniques that can be practised by anyone. During this course you will get practical experience of the benefits of meditation, including how to use meditation to handle stress, be happy, stay focused and have harmony in your relationships. At the end of the course you can choose one meditation to focus on and train in at home to continue to experience these benefits for yourself.

THE TEACHER
Gen Kelsang Wangmo has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism and ordained as a nun for over 20 years. Loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her sincere example, Gen Wangmo’s lighthearted yet profound teachings provide practical wisdom for modern daily life.

While tram work continues there is only southbound traffic on Leith Walk, towards the Centre.
Buses can be taken to Easter Road, then cut across Lorne Street onto Leith Walk.
