The ultimate balancing act
half day course | SAT 24 June
WITH Kadampa Teacher Kevin Thomson
Bringing life into balance and how to stay there
When we look at the world we can usually distinguish between positive and negative situations. But it can be much more difficult to distinguish between helpful and unhelpful states of mind.
In fact, our tendency to divide up the world into what is good, bad and neither based on how things make us feel, has a significant impact on our mental and emotional well being.
Harsh distinctions like this lead us to become overly dependent on external factors and make it difficult to experience a more balanced, calm and measured state of mind.
In contrast, Buddhist psychology explains a special state of mind known as equanimity, which regards others equally and has the power to remain calm and peaceful regardless of our external situations.
Join us for this illuminating course and discover how through Buddha’s wisdom we can easily bring our life into balance through the power of meditation.
Everyone welcome.
