SPECIAL EVENT
THE SCIENCE OF HAPPINESS
A THOUGHT-PROVOKING PUBLIC TALK
WITH GUEST TEACHER GEN KELSANG LEKMA
TUESDAY 25 FEBRUARY | 7 - 8.15PM

Discover the power of your mind with visiting teacher and Buddhist nun, Gen Lekma. Enjoy a thought-provoking talk on how meditation on Buddhist logic is actually a scientific method to increase our inner peace and happiness in daily life.
Gen Lekma will explain ways of understanding what our mind actually is, how it works to produce our everyday experiences and how we can start to take control of our happiness through this understanding. In this way we can reduce painful unwanted states of mind such as stress and anxiety and live a happy meaningful life. Everybody is welcome.
The talk will touch on the themes that will be explored within the March series of classes on ‘How to Understand the Mind’ here at the Centre in Leith and at Venues in Peebles and Dundee. Click here for more details of those classes.
Fee: £15 | members £10
