DETOX YOUR LIFE – A MEDITATION WORKSHOP
Sat 19 Nov | 2 – 4pm
We have all heard of the benefits that come from a good diet, a little exercise and generally looking after ourself. Yet no matter how well we accomplish this, we can remain feeling stressed, cluttered, indecisive and wrestling with unwanted negative mental states.
This is where meditation can help.
This basic meditation workshop will offer an introduction to meditation and its benefits. Gen Wangmo Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Edinburgh will explore the causes of our tension, stress and unpeaceful states of mind. Guiding practical meditations, Gen Wangmo will help us to identify the actual cause of our problems and how to overcome them, leaving an experience of inner freedom and detox. On completion of this workshop, we can expect to have a clearer understanding of meditation and how through integrating simple meditations into our day we can begin to declutter our life.
- learn how to meditate and enjoy mental freedom
- develop skills in identifying inner problems and how to overcome them
- live more confidently and peacefully with a mind free from negative states
Everyone welcome, no prior experience of meditation necessary.
