SACRED SOUNDS – THE POWER OF MANTRA
Saturday 23 September | 2 – 5pm
The sacred sounds of mantra offer another avenue to deep inner peace and spiritual realisation. The reverberation of these blessed syllables has long been used as a way to achieve transformations that the thinking mind can’t easily achieve.
Mantra means mind protection. It is a supreme method to enhance the qualities of our body and mind. It can be used to help calm our mind by pacifying negative thoughts that give rise to suffering and it can also be used to go deeper and connect with enlightened power.
During this course Gen Wangmo will explain the meaning of mantra, how it functions and give instructions on combining mantra recitation with breathing meditation. This is a simple but powerful method to attain a calm, controlled and positive mind and creates special causes to experience the supreme inner peace of our enlightened mind.
Everybody welcome.
