Pujas (chanted prayers) are an important component of training in a spiritual life. During special tsog pujas we dedicate our prayers to those who are experiencing mental or physical sickness, and to those who are recently deceased.
If you would like to request prayers for your family or friends, please send an email to [email protected]
Powa Ceremony, also known as the practice of transference of consciousness, is performed by request at KMC Edinburgh on behalf of those who have recently died, traditionally within forty-nine days of their death. Through doing Powa Ceremony with faith, compassion, and concentration we can transfer the consciousness of those recently deceased to a higher rebirth or to the Pure Land of a Buddha. Everyone is welcome.
Please note: If you would like to request a Powa Ceremony for someone you know who has recently died, please contact our Coordinator at: [email protected] We will try our best to accommodate your request however it may not always be possible due to the previously scheduled Education Programme.
