MEDITATIONS TO REDUCE STRESS & FATIGUE
With Kevin Thomson
Saturday 14 October | 2 – 5pm
Stress and anxiety are on the rise like never before, with more and more of us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted in the face of life’s challenges.
But what actually is stress and how does it develop?
From a Buddhist point of view stress is the mind’s unskillful response to challenging situations, and in particular it is the tension that arises between what we want to happen and what is happening.
Buddha’s analysis reveals how our attachments, expectations and desires actually set us up for stress in advance. But by learning to become more attuned to reality and experiencing inner peace in meditation we can change the way we approach difficult situations and significantly reduce the stress and fatigue in our lives.
Everyone is welcome.
