BURNS SUPPER & MEDITATION EVENT

Join us for a special evening of relaxing guided meditation and a delicious Burns supper.
Building on the success of our Halloween themed evening we return with a fun themed evening including the chance to develop some lasting inner peace before we enjoy a vegetarian Burns Supper.
The evening begins with canapés and refreshments before we enjoy a relaxing guided meditation to bring a sense of inner peace to conclude the weekend. Put the stresses and tensions of daily life behind you and enjoy an evening of relaxation with a tasty traditional 3 course home-cooked, vegetarian meal
Evening Schedule:
Reception: 4pm
Canapés and Refreshments: 4.30pm
Meditation: 5pm
Dressing the Haggis: 6pm
Burns Supper: 6.10pm

THE TEACHER
Gen Kelsang Wangmo has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism and ordained as a nun for over 20 years. Loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her sincere example, Gen Wangmo’s lighthearted yet profound teachings provide practical wisdom for modern daily life.

Street parking currently free in this area.
While tram work continues there is only southbound traffic on Leith Walk, towards the Centre.
Buses can be taken to Easter Road, then cut across Lorne Street onto Leith Walk.
