What to Expect at a Class

Meditation Classes

meditation classes are offered on an informal, drop-in basis, so you are welcome to come along at any time. Each class consists of two guided meditations, with a teaching on a general topic of Buddhism in between. There is plenty of time to ask questions and discuss experiences with other class members, and each class is concluded with an informal chat accompanied by light refreshments with the teacher.

People listening to a teaching

The classes teach specific Buddhist methods for developing inner peace and solving our human problems. Although these teachings are Buddhist in nature, they are completely accessible to everybody regardless of background or belief, and there is no need to be a Buddhist to experience the wonderful benefits of these meditation for ourselves.

Although there is generally a natural progression from one class to the next, each class is presented as a self-contained unit that can be experienced and enjoyed on its own merit.

There is no need to book or bring anything, just turn up on the evening, relax and enjoy the inner peace that meditation brings.
